Cancellation Policy

Updated for 2026

This policy applies to all Body in Tune services including individual kinesiology sessions, Soul Power Kinesiology, Colour for Life courses, and Touch for Health 1-4.  By booking a session or enrolling in a course, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out below.

1. Appointment Cancellation Policy (Sessions)

1.1 24-Hour Cancellation Requirement

A cancellation fee of 50% of the session fee will be charged for appointments that have been cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours of notice.  

Please email/call/text as soon as you know that you will not be able to make your appointment. If cancellation or rescheduling is necessary, we require that you contact us at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time.

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Late cancellations prevent others from accessing that appointment space.

1.2 How to Cancel Your Appointment

VIA PHONE CALL: Please call 0220978582 If unavailable, please leave a detailed voice message and we will aim to return your call as soon as possible.

VIA EMAIL: Please email hello@bodyintune.co.nz with the cancellation request.

VIA SMS: Please send a text to 0220978582 with the cancellation request or  Reply “N” to the automated reminder message sent the day before your appointment.

1.3 Same-Day Cancellations and No-Shows

For Same- Day Cancellation requests please contact us via PHONE or SMS ONLY, as we are not able to check emails during client sessions.

For Same-Day Cancellations and No-Shows, the full amount of the missed appointment fee will be charged.

2. Body in Tune Course Cancellation Policy (Touch for Health, Soul Power Kinesiology and Colour for Life Courses)

This policy applies to all Waves Kinesiology training courses delivered directly by Body in Tune, including the two-day levels of Touch for Health, Soul Power Kinesiology and Colour for Life.

2.1 Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of $222 NZD is required to secure your place for each two-day level.

2.2 Course Fees (per two-day level)

Standard price: $595 NZD

Paid in full / Early Bird: $555 NZD

Course fees apply per two-day level.

2.3 Cancellations More Than 14 Days Before the Course

If you cancel more than 14 days before the course start date:

• 50% refund of fees paid, excluding the deposit, or

• Transfer of the full amount paid (minus deposit) as credit toward another Body in Tune course within 12 months.

2.4 Cancellations Within 14 Days of the Course

If you cancel within 14 days of the course start date:

• No refunds.

• Full credit (minus deposit) may be applied toward another Body in Tune course within 12 months.

2.5 Once the Course Has Started

No refunds will be issued once the course has started, regardless of participation, missed days, or early withdrawal.

2.6 If Body in tune Cancels the Course

If Body in Tune must cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances:

• A full refund of all course fees paid will be issued.

• The deposit will be converted into a full course credit valid for 12 months.

Body in Tune does not reimburse travel or accommodation expenses.

3. Transfer Requests for Courses

Requests to transfer to another course must be submitted in writing before the course begins.

Transfers are valid for 12 months and are subject to availability.
